Agenda
The Total Coliform Rule, the rule which governs the collection of bacteria samples at public water systems and the required follow-up, has been revised by the US EPA. New Hampshire intends to implement the Revised Total Coliform Rule, or RTCR, beginning January 2015. This session is designed to provide an overview of these changes which include differences in protocol following a positive bacteria test result, the move to a find-and-fix response approach and changes in the regulations for seasonal public water systems. Members of the NH DES Drinking Water Bureaus Engineering and Monitoring Sections will present these updates and be available to answer questions at this important training opportunity.
