Sustainable Management of Small Rural Water & Wastewater Systems

The Association holds its annual membership meeting on the same day as the Field Day. At the membership meeting Association business is conducted and the Awards of Excellence are presented. The awards recognize the accomplishments of a water operator, a wastewater operator, and a water or wastewater system. These individuals and systems demonstrate a dedication to the provision of safe drinking
water and protection of the environment through persistence, innovation and hard work. Examples of excellence include correction of a long-standing problem, implementation of a new or innovative idea, and proactive protection of a drinking water source.
